The Civil Service World’s Winter Reception: Celebrating Trailblazing Women, will bring together senior leaders and colleagues from across government to celebrate progress, share insights and continue the conversation on inclusion at the highest levels of public service.

As we mark 70 years since the appointment of Dame Evelyn Sharp as the first female permanent secretary and approach the centenary of women taking the civil service entrance exam, the evening will reflect on the trailblazers who have shaped the service over the past century and look ahead to the next frontiers of building a truly diverse and inclusive civil service.
